Fear.  One of satan's most valuable tools!  Fear can and will, control our lives.  Fear will grip us and totally make us useless for anything.

"For God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power and of love and of a sound mind."  2Timothy 1:7

I think that scripture is extremely clear that it tells us fear is a spirit.  Yes, fear is a spirit.  We live in a time when satan has let out his demons in full force upon the earth.  He knows the time draws near that his work will be chained.  He fights with a fury!
BUT, as he unleashes his fury, God is unleashing His power and authority!

As a child of God, we cast out those demons that try to afflict us.  We have the authority and power of them!!!  As we do this, the demons have to flee!!!

I know, you may be saying at this time, you cannot exercise your God given authority and power of this demon of fear.  You feel powerless.  You feel helpless.

There is good news!!!!  God will deliver us out of ALL these things!  If you feel as though you cannot do anything about your position, I advise you to find a pastor who will help you.  Most pastors are more than willing to counsel you.  Make sure you find a pastor who teaches the Word of God as the inspired Word of God.  One who knows all about the power and authority God has given us.

Sometimes we need deliverance from these things.  If you are not in church, FIND ONE!!  Charismatic people LOVE to give those demons what for!!!!!  They will be more than willing to cast them out, if that is what you need!

Sometimes we can get a grip on that spirit of fear all by ourselves.  We do it by reading God's Word and praying and quoting scriptures to satan.  Remember one thing, satan cannot read our minds....all he can do is put the thoughts there and wait to see if you will take the thoughts.  That is why we must say those scriptures aloud.

The Bible has many scriptures that tell us not to fear.  To be of strong courage.  God is our refuge and strength.  God is our shield. Actually, FEAR NOT is in the Bible 365 times. That one "fear not" for everyday!!

Yes, take courage.  God is on our side!!!!!  He will defend us, if we let Him.  We have to begin by taken our minds captive.  To think upon those things that are pure, things that are noble, things that are lovely, things that are of good report, things that are just.  Philippians 4:8.....read it.  Think upon those things.

Search the Word of God for scriptures that tell us about peace.  God's peace.  Peace banishes fear.  The Bible is full of scriptures that tell us about God's peace and how we are to take a stand and say, "I will NOT fear!"  Trust God.

I rebuke and bind that spirit of fear in your life.  I speak peace to you.  I speak God's love to overflow within you.  I speak God's  calmness into your life.  I pray for the mind of Christ to be in you.
