April 22 - 2008
       Franklin County Wireless and Union Dial-up Maintenance Notice:
Fiber maintenance is scheduled for late Wednesday (4/23/08) to early Thursday (4/24/08) from 11pm-3am in the Union, MO area. During this maintenance window, members using Wireless High Speed Internet service around Franklin County as well as dial-up services in Union may experience sporadic interruptions in service. We apologize for any inconvenience and we appreciate your patience during this maintenance window.

March 12 - 2008
       Wireless Service Scheduled Maintenance - Franklin County
Scheduled maintenance is planned Wednesday, March 12th from 11am-1pm on one of the towers that YHTI is using to provide wireless high-speed Internet service for the Franklin County area. During this scheduled maintenance window, interruption of Internet service may be expected.

February 1 - 2008
       Franklin County Wireless High-Speed Internet Members
Due to an Ameren UE power outage, wireless high-speed Internet members in the Franklin county area may experience some interruptions in service. Our operations team has currently deployed multiple generators to help limit the outages. Ameren UE has indicated an estimated repair time of approximately 3am early Saturday morning. We apologize for the inconvenience.

December 11 - 2007
       Eldon & Rocky Mount Wireless Customers. Updated 12/11/07
Updated: 12/11/07 6:00pm Ameren has restored power to the area surrounding our towers.
12/11/07 1:00pm Ameren UE is still experiencing severe power outages affecting thousands of residential and business customers which includes the towers housing YHTI's high-speed wireless equipment in and around Eldon Missouri. Ameren UE had originally supplied an ETA of between 9 and Noon Monday the 10th but at this time they are estimating it could take as long as Thursday the 13th. Matt Blunt has issued a state of Emergency for the storm stricken areas. We apologize for the inconvenience.

December 10 - 2007
       Eldon & Rocky Mount Wireless Customers. Updated 12/10/07
Due to freezing rain and ice storms in the area, Ameren UE is experiencing severe power outages affecting 4000 or so customers which includes the tower housing YHTI's equipment. Ameren had originally supplied an ETA of between 9 and Noon Monday the 10th but at this time they have only restored partial services. They are currently supplying an ETA of between 9 and Noon Tuesday the 11th. We apologize for the inconvenience.

September 16 - 2007
       Fidelity Exchange Dial-up Members.
Sullivan Electric experienced a power outage that affected YHTI dial-up members who have a Fidelity exchange or dial (573) 860-1631. Power was restored Sunday morning by approximately 11:00 AM. We apologize for the inconvenience.

July 31 - 2007
       Dixon, Crocker and Iberia Members.
ShowMe Power has informed us that they are going to be doing emergency maintenance again early Wednesday morning from midnight to 1AM. During this time Internet service for Dixon, Crocker and Iberia members will be interrupted. We apologize for any inconvenience.

July 10 - 2007
       ALL Member Notice!
AT&T has experienced a fiber outage causing all remote sites to be intermittent or out of service. You should be able to retrieve your email at your yhti.net account and all other mail is being backed up and will be delivered as soon as AT&T has the fiber repaired. AT&T is aware of the problem but have no ETA on a fix at this point. We apologize for the inconvenience. As of 7/10/07 1:30pm, AT&T has resolved their problems.

March 28 - 2007
       Franklin County area Wireless members
3/28/07: The YHTI operations team has scheduled maintenance planned for early Thursday morning 3/29/07. Between midnight and 1:30am, Wireless High-Speed Internet members in the Franklin County area may see sporadic service outages while this maintenance is being performed. We apologize for any inconvenience. 3/29/07 - Operation completed.

March 23 - 2007
       Lake Ozarks area Wireless members
3/23/07: Lake Ozarks area Wireless members can expect to see intermittent Internet service due to a fiber outage in the Lake area. Our operations team is working to restore service as quickly as possible. We apologize for any inconvenience. 3/24/07 - Fiber repaired.

April 19 - 2006
       Wireless Customers in Washington, Union, Beaufort, and Villa Ridge
Wednesday 4/19/06: Due to the storms that occurred last night, some users may have experienced periodic Wireless Internet outages. We have replaced the effected equipment and all of the services are operational again. We apologize for the inconvenience.

April 2 - 2006
       Union Dial-Up and Wireless High-Speed
Sunday 4/2/06 5:00-5:45pm: Due to the region wide power failures caused by extremely heavy storms, Union dial-up as well as Wireless High-Speed members experiencied a temporary loss of service. Our operations team quickly worked to deploy our backup generators to restore Internet service!

November 30 - 2005
       Crocker & Iberia Members!
Last night, late Wednesday 11/30/05 through early Thursday morning 12/1/05, ShowMe Power was doing maintenance that effected the dial-up lines for the Crocker and Iberia members. We have since had the problem resolved and the lines are operational again.

October 17 - 2005
       Beaufort Member Notice!
We have been informed by Crawford Electric and Sho-Me Power that they will need to replace the main transformer in the Clover Bottom substation due to the population growth in the area. This is scheduled to take place on Tuesday night Oct, 18th starting around 11:30PM and continuing until around 4-5 AM on Wed morning.

During this time the Clover Bottom residents will be without power and our Beaufort Internet POP will be operating on standby generators. You may experience some periodic Internet outages during this time. We apologize for any inconveniences. In the event of rain the work will be rescheduled for the following day.


September 28 - 2005
       Wireless Service Notice!
Due to storm related issues, YHTI experienced a problem with it's Wireless Internet Service. Users would be unable to navigate the internet. We apologize for the inconvenience. Service should be restored shortly...All Systems restored at 10:50 PM

September 24 - 2005
       Members Notice!
From approximately 7:00pm-8:15pm Saturday 9/24/05, the mail server was not responding to outgoing mail requests. The problem was located and quickly solved.

May 25 - 2005
       Crocker Dial-Up Members!
Due to a power problem, dial-up members in Crocker would have been unable to connect to the Internet. Show-Me Power, at approximately 2:30pm, had the problem corrected. We apologize for any inconvenience.

February 8 - 2005
       Lake Area Members!
SBC has located and resolved the line problems that they were having which was effecting the Lake Area Dial-Up service. We apologize for any inconvenience.

February 7 - 2005
       Lake Area Members!
SBC has escalated the line problems and they have a team of managers working on the issue currently. SBC has been having problems with the digital phone lines in the Lake Ozark area. These line problems may result in sporadic dial-up connections and busy signals. We apologize for any inconvenience.

January 27 - 2005
       Union Area Members!
While doing service work this morning 1/27/05, SBC managed to disconnect the Union access number which resulted in service in Union being unavailable. We apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused.

January 17 - 2005
       Attention Union Members
At approximately 11:00PM, Monday 1/17/05, we will be doing updates in the Union area office. During this time sporadic outages may be experienced by Union area dial-up members. Outages should be kept to a minimum. Thank you.

December 20 - 2004
       Beaufort Members
Attention Beaufort Members Yesterday and this morning SBC was running into line problems effecting Beaufort area members. They have since moved the line over to a spare until they have the line repaired which should take place mid afternoon tomorrow 12/21/04. Sporadic outages are still possible until the problem is permanently fixed.

December 8 - 2004
       Beaufort Members
Attention Beaufort Members Due to a Crawford Electric power failure in the Beaufort area we lost power to our dial-up lines. Beaufort members would be unable to connect to the Internet until the power returned.

August 14 - 2004
       Beaufort Members
SBC has had a cable cut near 185 & Horton road resulting in about 1/2 of our inbound lines being out of service. You may experience periodic busy signals this evening. They expect to have it repaired by 10:30 PM 8/13. We apologize for the inconvenience.
UPDATE SBC was unable to repair the cable last night. They now have a new crew on the job and hope to have it completed by noon today 8/14. We again apologize.
UPDATE#2 SBC has been unable to resolve the problem and new ETA for repair is 4:00 PM. .
UPDATE#3 SBC has still been unable to resolve the problem and new ETA for repair is 10:00 PM.

July 15 - 2004
       Web Connection Update 6:00pm
Due to a router issue occurring at SBC's main office in St. Louis, members from approximately 4pm to 6pm may have experience some web sites did not load properly. This would have only effecting certain web sites, specifically web sites hosted on the East Coast. SBC has since resolved their issue. We apologize for the inconvenience.

July 15 - 2004
       12:00am-3:00am - Maintenance Window
We have scheduled maintenance window which is set for late Wednesday night, early Thursday morning 7/15/04, 12:00 midnight to 3:00am. We are excited to announce the installing of a new high power battery backup system in our main offices. During this time sporadic Internet outages may be experienced but they should be kept to a minimum. Thank you for your support as we expand our services and make advancements in newer technologies.

July 8 - 2004
       2:00am-5:00am - Maintenance Window
All services are now operational! We apologize, but on 7/8/04 SBC/ASI started some unscheduled maintenance that we were not alerted of on our main line to the internet. This has now been corrected Again, we apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused.

June 23 - 2004
       2:00am-5:00am - Maintenance Window
SBC has scheduled maintenance on 06/24/04 between the hours of 2:00AM and 5:00AM. Customers may experience sporadic outages during this maintenance window. The anticipated disruption of service is approximately 30 minutes.

March 31 - 2004
       3:00pm-4:45pm - Dixon & Iberia
Dixon & Iberia Members: At approximately 3:00pm to 4:45pm we were experiencing problems with the lines in the areas of Dixon and Iberia. During this time frame members may have received busy signals. The problem has since been resolved. We apologize for the inconvenience.

February 15 - 2004
       7:45pm-8:15pm - Concord Hill
Due to a power and communications failure in the Concord Hill area, members may have experienced problems connecting to the internet from 7:45 - 8:15.

February 3 - 2004
       9:00pm-10:00pm - Mail Upgrade
Due to the extraordinary amount of email traffic that the MyDoom/Novarg virus has created, we were forced to due software upgrades to the mail server earlier this morning Tuesday-2/3/04. You may have experienced short intervals of mail inactivity while this was happening. All systems are back to normal.

January 27 - 2004
       1:40pm-2:40pm - SBC Outage
We apologize but SBC's Internet backbone connection was experiencing problems outside of our network. SBC has since then resolved their issues.

       New Look!
We have redesigned the look of our YHTI home page and made it more functional and easier for our members to use. All of the links and services you have come to expect of YHTI are still located on our new home page.
